How Social Media Can Impact My Bottom line:  A Special Workshop for Franchisees
Nick Powills

Our franchisees have had the term “Social Media” drilled into their heads thanks to mainstream media. They have been told, over and over again why they need to have a Twitter handle and a Facebook Fan Page. The problem, though, is they don’t know what to do with it.

Typically, a franchisee will spend two weeks to 30 days interacting, responding and building their pages, but frankly, after that they just don’t have the time. And you, as the franchisor will want them to focus on local store marketing and real life interactions rather than in the virtual universe.

As a franchisor, you also want to take back control of your brand. You don’t want to set yourself up for headaches down the road when a customer leaves an angry message on a franchisee’s page and you are locked out via password to respond, react and improve that relationship.

This 2.5 hour workshop is designed to impact your franchisees and get them excited about a strategy that works for your system.

Building Your Business & Managing Your Brand with Social Media  Gina Schreck

It is no longer enough to have a website for our businesses.  Consumers want to engage on blogs, wikis, Facebook fan pages and more.  They aren’t reading our ads, they’re not opening our e-zines, and they certainly are not picking up the phone when we make cold calls.

Sales and marketing were critical skills yesterday, but today the skill needed to succeed in business is conversing.  We must create, build, and manage our brand using conversations on-line.  Although this can seem daunting to some, it is easier than ever before to share your expertise, engage with consumers and build your business using social media tools.

60-90 min presentation. Included in this program is a 60-minute open forum conference call 1-2 weeks after the live event for participants to call in with questions that arise as they implement the new tools.
