Speaker Bio

stand-friedman-headshot-new

20 year franchise industry veteran and experiential facilitator

Stan Friedman knows franchising.  He has lived and breathed it for more than 20 years, holding executive leadership positions at such legacy brands as Blimpie International and Maggie Moos, and by participating in both leadership and ownership roles, at emerging and start-up concepts like Wing Zone and RetroTax, a B2B concept that he co-founded in 2007.

The one common thread that Stan brings to any brand that he’s involved with, is his deep passion for franchising.  With that comes his complete belief that the “secret sauce” at any franchising company is not found in the food, the service or brand alone.  Neither is it found just in the CEO or founder’s vision, leadership or execution.   Stan believes that a fundamental element of your company’s DNA is the intellectual capital, comprised of the body collective, the franchisee, franchisor, and its home office and field employees.

Travels From: Atlanta, GA

  Fee Range: $3,000-$5,000

“I have had the opportunity to attend two sessions with Stan Friedman facilitating the Survival Exercise to large groups. First and foremost the exercise itself is a great way to pull a group together to not only work better together as a group, but to respect the diversity of opinions during follow up sessions. Second, Stan’s ability to facilitate this session, with large groups, is focused, engaging, structured and actually fun. Stan not only engages his audience, but makes participation fun for the group. I highly recommend Stan and this exercise for large groups to set the ground work for important conferences.”
Jon Jameson, Founding Partner, Bellwether Food Group
