No. There is never a fee to our clients for leveraging our 16+ years of experience and expertise in providing impactful motivational business speakers to the franchise sector. Our model is similar to a real estate model where the seller pays the agents commission. Our Speaker Partners trust us to find the exact right audiences to share their wisdom with. We earn commission from the speaker based on each ‘match’ we make.

Fee integrity is very important to both Franchise Speakers and to our valued Speaker Partners. A fee quoted by us will be the same fee quoted by the speaker.

SPEAKER FEE:
The majority of our clients are franchise systems with 100-500 units and invest between $20,000 to $35,000 in a keynote speaker. Of course, as franchise systems grow, the size of their event grows with them allowing for an increase in speakers budget. For larger clients we often book multiple speakers, breakout and workshop trainers, and a show emcee. These budgets can range from $75,000 to $200,000 to create a WOW! experience for the entire franchise system. 

Here are a few fee ranges that are typical in our experience: 

  • System Size – 100 to 500 Units

          Keynote – 60-75 Minutes – $20,000 – $35,000
          Breakouts -$15,000 – $25,000 

  • System Size – 50 to 100 Units
    Keynote – 60-75 Minutes – $10,000 – $20,000

          Breakouts -$7,500 – $12,500

The fee for your franchise speaker will depend on the speaker’s experience and the session’s complexity and requirements. Some speakers will be open to adding on an additional breakout or workshop, or facilitate a panel or roundtable at a reduced fee.  Franchise Speakers can help you maximize your speaker investment in many creative ways. 

Keep in mind, the more renowned the speaker, the higher the fee they will command, reflective of their expertise and draw.

TRAVEL FEE: 
Speaker travel expenses are always in addition to the speaking fee unless specifically stated.  Clients are responsible for covering the speaker’s travel expenses including: airfare, ground transportation in home and host cities, meals, and incidentals.

The client is responsible for booking the speaker’s hotel room for up to two nights.  Typically this is billed directly to the client’s Master Account.

We always recommend a ‘Flat Travel Fee’, also called a ‘Travel Buyout’ for everything except the hotel accommodations.  This Flat Travel Fee greatly simplifies logistics for both the client and the speaker AND allows the client to know what their actual total speaker investment will be:  Speaker Fee + Speaker Travel Fee + Speaker Hotel = TOTAL Speaker Expense.

Presenter fees range from $5,000-$15,000 for training and breakout sessions. Keynotes range from $7,500 to $20,000, generally. Of course, we work with lots of speakers in the $20,000 plus fee range often and love many of them. In addition to the fee, you can expect to pay for all travel expenses, which include airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, and incidentals. Most often, presenters charge a flat travel fee to cover airfare and ground, with hotel and incidentals while on site, billed to Client’s Master Account.

Franchise Speakers promises to make your speaker search, selection, contracting, and logistics management process FUN, EASY, and STRESS FREE.

  • First step is to fill out this short Event KickStart Form! 
  • As soon as we receive your basic event details, we’ll reach out to set up a short call.  
  • We’ll start percolating ideas immediately and have franchise-savvy speakers suggestions to share with you on the call.
  • Next, we’ll put together a listing of 5-7 speaker ideas for you to circulate to your Leadership Team (LT), your Franchise Convention Committee, or your Franchise Advisory Council (FAC).
    This list will include Speaker’s area of expertise, topic titles, links to their clips, their fees, and some specific comments from Franchise Speakers as to why we think they are a great fit for you.
  • Once we submit your Speaker Options List, you will have 2 weeks to create your short list or hopefully select your finalist.  Of course, if you need more time, just let us know.
  • At this stage, some clients like to have a Discovery Call with the speaker and their convention stakeholders before making a final decision.  We are happy to set that up for you.
  • Then it’s contract time! – Franchise Speakers will take care of all the paperwork for both you and the speaker you have selected. 
  • Then we dive into our 112 point ‘Stellar Servcie Logistics Checklist’.  The Franchise Speaker’s team will be managing the process from start to finish every step of the way.  What we hear most often from our clients is, “YOU MADE THIS SO EASY!”  That’s our mission – FUN, EASY, and STRESS FREE!
