How to Create an Inclusive Meeting
Diverse and inclusive cultures are more productive, profitable and resilient, and inclusion is heavily impacted by how a franchise handles its meetings and events. In order to create an inclusive conference, there are several key factors to consider:
- Pay attention to your speaker roster and mix it up to provide a broad range of perspectives
- Creating tracks that match the demographics and knowledge of the audience
- Ensuring event marketing and presentation imagery/content reflects the audience
- Content is built to serve different learning styles
- Handicapped access is provided for not only physical, visual, auditory disabilities, but also language translation, dietary needs, and technology skills
