The Franchisee Satisfaction Awards & Survey and Why It Matters to You!

The Franchisee Satisfaction Awards sponsored by Franchise Business Review (FBR) are the industry’s most prestigious awards, honoring excellence in franchising. Each year, FBR conducts thousands of independent surveys of franchisees across the industry. The Franchisee Satisfaction Awards program, now in its 10th year, recognizes the leading franchise companies with the highest levels of satisfaction among their franchise operators. Over 700 franchise brands have participated in this annual study.

The survey data collected also offers franchisors the opportunity to privately examine their own system’s strengths and weaknesses compared to an industry-wide benchmark.

Every team within a franchise system benefits from a third party franchisee satisfaction survey including Development, Marketing, and Operations.  And of course, giving the C-suite an honest and timely look at what needs to be done to successfully grow the system and create a culture where every business flourishes is a huge opportunity. 

Three key reasons that those franchise systems that survey every year are also the fastest growing and most profitable systems out there include:

  1. Letting franchisees know that the franchisor is listening goes a long way in creating a culture of collaboration and unity
  2. Closing the feed-back loop and responding to the ideas, suggestions and concerns of franchises creates a culture of trust and open communication

WOW! – I can’t imagine running a franchise system without this kind of foundational feedback tool and being able to use the data as a roadmap to success.

I encourage you to hurry and register, this year’s deadline for registration is Tuesday, September 30, 2014 and surveys must be launched by October 14, 2014.  Results will be announced in January of 2015. 

Participants must be based in the U.S. or Canada and have at least 10 operating franchisees.  Companies may register at no cost HERE
