Event Planning: HELP, am I forgetting anything?

Are you a “wake up in the middle of the night remembering something you forgot to do” sort of person? Boy, I try hard NOT to be (but sometimes it still happens 😊), Checklists are my go-to prevention tool! And is there a function that needs a timeline and checklist any more than event planning?!?! We think not (well, maybe rocket scientist or President). For those of you tasked with some or all the convention planning function, the moving parts are extensive and the stakes are high for your franchise system. We know a lot of you and have the utmost respect for your critical role.

Through the years in working with planners and franchisor event planning teams on speaker selection and logistics, we’ve gathered a broader event knowledge and have created SPEAK!’s Meeting Planning Timeline & Checklist. I’m sure you have an organizing system of your own in place, but perhaps ours can be a helpful supplement and create some additional peace of mind that only comes with a detailed checklist.
