WOW…IFA was fantastic, wasn’t it?!

(read in Dr. Seuss cadence please)

…whether in a hallway or lobby, an escalator or elevator,
…whether at a roundtable or super session, a meal or cocktail party,
…whether walking to or from the convention center, the ladies room or men’s…whoops! 😊

It was an absolute pleasure to meet new industry friends and deepen relationships with so many others.

And yet as I’m back in my office, I realize how many friends I was not able to connect with in person this year. How amazing to reflect on the launching of SPEAK! 10 years ago, and how the wonderful franchise community has made me a part of their community. I’m humbled and grateful.

Of course, one of the highlights for me was seeing Greg Nathan receive the prestigious Crystal Compass Award from the IFA. This award is presented annually to an individual within the franchise community who epitomizes the ideals of leadership and has earned a reputation for leadership. Those chosen for this honor have made significant contributions within their respective franchise organizations, the franchise community in general and in their local communities.

Over the last 29 years as the Founder and visionary leader of The Franchise Relationships Institute, Greg has made significant contributions in helping franchisors and franchisees cultivate and sustain Profitable Partnerships. Well deserved, Greg!

During the convention, I talked to several of you about the possibility of utilizing Greg’s 1 or 2 Day Bootcamps in 2018 and we are working to sync schedules. If your team is interested and you’ve not yet spoken to me, let’s talk, as his North American dates are filling up quickly. (Sometimes I wish he lived in the states!)

But, of course, Greg’s books are only a phone call—720-304-3710 or email away!

More soon,

Katrina

P.S. Did you see Rory Vaden on Sunday morning? Read about his presentation on multiplying time (who couldn’t use that?)
