A Navy SEAL's Lessons in Leadership

The following blurb from Navy SEAL combat veteran, Brent Gleeson, echoed over and over in my mind after reading, and I thought it was worth sharing:

“Loyalty is one of the core values taught in the Navy SEAL training program. Instructors teach you from the first day that your team is everything to you. You succeed with them, and you fail without them. And you never leave anyone behind.”

TEAM IS EVERYTHING. I identify with this greatly, being that I am on my clients' teams when it comes to creating amazing events with dynamite speakers. When the overall event is a smashing success, I feel that pride you can only experience when
winning as a team. I want our clients not to view us as a separate entity working in a silo, but as a part of a well-oiled machine. This partnership is what creates the “WOW Factor” and isn't that what we are all striving for? Or at least should be?
