Grateful to be Within the Franchise Community at the FaegreBD Summit

While at the FaegreBD Summit, Hurricane Harvey was relentlessly submerging Houston in flood waters, and several franchisors were receiving news from their Houston area franchisees—both with incredible needs and with stories of heroism. And as I’m writing, many other franchisors and franchisees in Florida and the southeast are bracing for the arrival of Hurricane Irma. While these communities prepare, reel and rebuild for months and potentially years, the community of support amongst franchisors and between franchisors and their franchisees feels JUST like family. I am blessed to be a part of such a massive, yet intimate group of authentic and caring people. Transitioning back to the fantastic FaegreBD Summit, here are a few highlights and a couple pictures!

Outstanding panels filled with a bank of incredible franchise wisdom, discussing the 5 Habits of the Highly Successful Franchise System.

 

Day Two, keynote speaker,

delivered “nugget” after “nugget”, including:

Disruption = Every year take your entire strategy and throw it out and MAKE it find its way back in.”

On a leader’s confidence versus arrogance: Confidence is driven by vulnerability and is open to influence.”
